These replacement cups for the Reacher are a robust design and perfect for doing outdoor stick / trash pickup. The cups I replaced were over 4 years old and show very little if any wear. I'd recommend checking the tightness on the nylock hex nuts on an annual basis to avoid losing one, as I did.

I pickup trash in my neighborhood and have been using this particular model for many years. Because I have some arthritis in my hands I find the mechanism on the metal ones are too hard to squeeze.
