Great tool but a bit too long

I've been using Arcmate tools for years cleaning park trails. They are the best on the market. My only gripe is the length of the standard 32" tool; it's 2 inches too long. Even as a "standard" 6 foot male I have to constantly bend my arm to pick up trash, and the length makes it even harder to lift trash to the bag in my other hand.

Thank you for your review and kind words, as well as the feedback!

I've served as a volunteer trail steward at a public park's off-road bike trail for the past decade, and I've had the opportunity to use various grabbers to help manage the abundant trash. Among the tools I've used, this grabber which stands out for its lightweight design, making it incredibly convenient during our cleanup efforts. Additionally, I appreciate the rubber cup grabbers, as they allow me to pick up multiple small objects, like 4-5 cigarette butts, with just a couple of grabs. If you’ve ever fed a horse a cube of sugar, the cups kind of remind me of the horse’s lips. That said, my favorite feature is also the tools weakest feature. On occasion, one of the rubber cups will get dislodged when encountering obstructions while extracting it from thickets or tight spaces. Once the cup pops off, it loses its effectiveness because it has been stretched where it attaches to the tongs, making it more likely to detach again and eventually become lost. I have experimented with grabbers that feature a solid grip (without cups), but they tend to be significantly heavier and do not perform as well when it comes to grabbing items like wet cans, bottles, or small objects. I would greatly appreciate if the design team could find a way to enhance the durability of the rubber cups or, in the event they need replacement, develop a different mechanism for securing them to the tongs. This improvement would make an already excellent grabber even more efficient and reliable for those of us committed to maintaining the cleanliness of our public trails. Best regards, John

I'm a professional landscaper, and these are hands down the best design for litter and debris pickup. No other grabber is as good for picking up and throwing twigs after a wind storm. Plus, I find this handle design actually more comfortable and effective than the "ergonomic" option that costs more!
